The Hyderabad Literary Festival was host to Graziano Krätli, Yale University Librarian who spoke about the book edited by him which chronicles the correspondence between Srinivas Rayaprol and William Carlos Williams “Why Should I Write a Poem Now? The Letters of Srinivas Rayaprol and William Carlos Williams, 1949-1958”. The talk was followed by Jerry Pinto, writer and poet and Aishwarya Iyer, poet and former winner of the Srinivas Rayaprol Poetry Prize, reading from the Rayaprol-Williams letters.

My uncle Murthy V N Sripada whose work appears in East and West Journal during 50s was a close friend of Shri.Rayaprol Srinivas. If I am not mistaken, I met Shri R Srinivas once in 1994/1995 @ Bhoiguda.
Keep continuing this portal. It has indirectly kept our uncle work alive.
My mother is still alive [87 years] and often fondly remembers his brother. We regret his untimely death !
